Deputies said a Huntington man has been accused of arranging a sexual encounter with a teenage girl using social media. Jonathan Adkins, 40, has been charged with solicitation of a minor via a computer, according to a Facebook post from the Jackson County, West Virginia Sheriff's Department. The post said Adkins drove from Huntington to Ripley after making arrangements to meet a 14-year-old girl online. Deputies said Adkins was taken into custody Friday evening with the help of Ripley police. Adkins is being held on a $100,000 cash only bail at South Central Regional Jail.
